The Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF) is a global industry-led partnership of financial institutions working together to develop and implement a harmonized approach to assess and disclose the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with financial activities.

Hetal Patel, chair of PCAF’s UK Chapter, together with the PCAF Secretariat warmly welcome interested stakeholders from the financial sector, industry as well as the public sector to join this session in which we will explore:

  • The importance of PCAF and measuring emissions from financial activities.
  • A signatory case study (Matt Bullivant, OakNorth Bank): Presentation on how OakNorth Bank uses PCAF to measure its financed emissions and how this informs its broader portfolio net zero strategy.
  • How PCAF integrates into the wider net zero ecosystem and aims to continue to drive real world impact through strategic collaborations.
  • What’s next for the PCAF Standard: brief overview of new methodologies being developed for future editions of the Standard.
