Ortakent Area Guide

The name Ortakent translates into the “middle city,” and this is an apt reflection of the village’s location near the heart of the Bodrum peninsula, a long-time inspiration for artisans and playground for rich and wealthy Turks.

As one of the Aegean coast’s oldest towns, owners of Ortakent property treasure the traditional charm of their village, but many more surprises await visitors. Due to population growth, Ortakent merged with the nearby and beautiful Yahsi beach district and combined with the traditional mandarin and olive groves; it is a delightful mixture of varied scenery and atmosphere.
