Mr Marco Franchino (BSc, MSc): Marco has ~12 years R&D (AMRC, University of Sheffield) and industrial experience (Bosch Rexroth, Meritor) in discrete event simulation, factory flow modelling, cost modelling and cost prediction strategies focused on products, resources, and investments estimation.

He is also expert in in trade studies to isolate the best/most balanced solution and decision-making techniques. He has worked as modeller and cost engineer lead in over 30 UK and international projects directly related to factory flow optimisation and cost estimation/reduction, delivering efficient/sustainable solutions, within budget and according to specifications and customers’ needs. 

He has demonstrated capacity of integration of cost analysis, process flows and novel solutions targeting resource optimisation, sustainability, and cost reduction, merging professional knowledge of business strategies in supply and manufacturing management, principles of lean production for optimisation of activities, reduction of waste, cost-effective and sustainable processes. He is also expert in dealing with uncertainties (Six Sigma certified).
