Phase 1

Baker Newby came to us with two related challenges: their current website was too difficult for their team to manage, and they were looking to implement a brand refresh. They needed a new web design to elevate their established brand and anchor other marketing materials through a welcoming, intuitive user experience.

We needed to shape their existing content into an easily managed site architecture backed by WordPress CMS. Our focus was on content strategy and SEO, fleshing out their content into a more logical structure and adding a legal blog.

Phase 2

Style Concepts

A big part of the Baker Newby website redesign was supporting their brand refresh, balancing a clean, professional look with a more authentic, welcoming feel. The objective was to work with their existing palette, using the bright red only for page accents. We softened heading copy and callouts with navy blue, and played up the warmer neutral colours. The overall impression is credible, trustworthy, and human.

Phase 3

Bringing it all together

The new Baker Newby website is an inviting and approachable place for visitors to research their firm and their team, while still showcasing their distinction in the field. Visitors can easily navigate to legal services, individual lawyer and paralegal profiles, and Baker Newby's ongoing community involvements. The new blog section provides a strong platform to improve reach, establish the Baker Newby team's credibility and thought leadership, and to support ongoing SEO — easily managed on the new WordPress CMS.
