Boris gained his PhD in chemistry from Florida State University, working in the field of organic photochemistry and winning the award for best PhD thesis of the year. Subsequent postdoctoral appointments took him to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cambridge University. He has more than ten years’ experience in industrial R&D and has authored/co-authored more than 10 patents and patent applications, as well as more than 20 scientific publications.
