Alison Heppenstall is Founder and Executive Director of Climate Action for Associations (CAFA) and Managing Director of b2b. With 23 years’ experience, working with more than 60 world leading NGOs, professional bodies and trade associations, including; the British Chambers of Commerce, CIPD, ICAEW, IWFM and ACCA, CIMA and FSB, Ali is a specialist in business-to-business growth for the membership sector internationally.

During her time working with NGO’s to curate and deliver their climate and sustainability programmes, Ali identified that membership associations required dedicated guidance and support to accelerate climate action. Never one to back away from a challenge, in 2021 Ali established CAFA specifically to provide the information and solutions that representative organisations urgently need to take proactive climate leadership.
